I believe that true wellness is a holistic approach that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. I have a special focus on trauma work, and believe that Creation is the Soul's Medicine and a powerful healing tool. I strive to empower my clients to take control of their own health and well-being through art, workshops, ceremony, and energy work.
I have come to trust that in ways I don’t yet fully understand right now, the events of my life are transpiring in a way that is for my benefit in order that I can help myself and others to align to their Soul Path.
I come from a family of fine artists, and have painted and sculpted throughout my life. I obtained a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree in 2000 from The Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts formerly ACAD). Since then I have worked as an artist in many different capacities; an art instructor, a freelance illustrator, freelance artist, muralist, and designer & art as therapy.
It was while I was working as a manager at a Benjamin Moore store that I became a designer and colour consultant. I started studying design and colour theory in 2006, then added the spiritual practice and study of the design principles of Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui to my repertoire. My interest in the healing arts originated from the discovery of how energy in a space can be improved through colour, intent, placement and design. I discovered these same principles could be applied to the body. I spent many years studying plant medicine and learning the healing power of crystals before turning my attention to the study of Reiki after suffering some health issues in 2010.
I became a Reiki Master in 2017 and spent the next years running my own Benjamin Moore store before exploring my growing interest in Shamanism through my studies in Earth Medicine. I sold my Benjamin Moore Paint store in 2020 allowing more time to dedicate to the healing arts and my own artistic practices. I have learned to combine my experience as a Reiki Master with my growing knowledge of Earth Medicine practices to imbue my own unique healing energy into my work with the Shamanic Hand Drums, Rattles and Feather Fans as healing medicine tools.
This is a natural extension of my spiritual practice paired with my artistic expression and understanding of the movement of Chi through all things.
I feel blessed to be able to help people on their own journey of healing and self discovery. I love my time spent out harvesting medicinal plants and herbs, as well as the opportunity to share my knowledge and practices with those seeking instruction through workshops and ceremonies.

Theresa's experience as a fine artist is vast and varied. Although she still practices traditional fine art in the form of watercolour, acrylic and encaustic mediums, in recent years she uses her combined skills and spiritual practices to create magnificent reflections of the divine energy her clients wish to work with through custom artwork and ceremonial medicine tools. REIKI HEALINGS
Theresa has been trained in traditional Usui Reiki and provides this healing modality combined with Earth Medicine practices for $120/hour
COLOUR & DESIGN CONSULTATIONS
Theresa is educated in the Black Sect Buddhist Feng Shui tradition, and has worked as a colour and design consultant for over 20 years. Much of this experience was gained through working with Benjamin Moore small business owners, including the time she owned and ran her own Benjamin Moore paint store in Calgary. The services available to you are:
- Professional colour consultation services that help you to arrive at a decision for the best overall colour for your home using the Benjamin Moore palette. This includes suggestions for the best colours to place in specific areas for the most advantageous Chi. This can usually be accomplished within an hour depending on the number of rooms and colours to be discussed. This may include travel time depending on location at the rate of $150/hour
- Feng Shui mapping of your home for the most advantageous flow of energy. The duration of this consultation depends on the extent of the area you wish to deal with, whether it is a single room or the whole house, interior or exterior. It may be necessary to provide blueprints for exact layout and accurate placement of the Bagua. A rough estimate of the total cost will be provided after an initial free 30 minute phone conversation. The rate for this service is $150/hour
- Energy clearing of your person, space, room, car or personal property at the rate of $150/hour.

Spirit Drum Making Workshop - $200 for the teaching plus the cost of materials
This is a 6 hour workshop:
- An intention filled space generated through Sacred Ceremony.
- You are welcomed to experience the meditative challenges, rewards, and inherent power of creating your own energy filled spiritual drum and drum stick.
- You gain an understanding of how to make, use, properly care for, and tune your drum.
Sacred Rattle Making Workshop - $200 for the teaching plus the cost of materials
This is a 2 day workshop:
- The first day is spent making and forming the head of the rattle.
- The second day is 2 weeks later, after the head has dried and involves filling the rattle with sound, decorating the handle, and securing the head to the handle.
Talking Stick Making Workshop - $200 for the teaching plus the cost of materials
This is a 4 hour workshop:
- Learn the significance of the talking stick and and it's traditional use.
- Learn how to incorporate the talking stick principles into your life in whatever capacity works best for you.
- Create and decorate your own talking stick with materials provided.
